The Certificate in Microfinance provides a broad-based, practical introduction to the key ideas, techniques and skills required to become a microfinance practitioner.

How You Will Be Assessed
Step 01
Module Assignments
An assignment is completed in each module and marked externally.
Step 02
Final Project
After completing the coursework, candidates complete a final project. This may involve preparing a policy manual for a microfinance institution or preparing a restructuring paper for an inefficient MFI using a supplied case study.
Step 03
Certificate Requirement
Candidates must achieve a mark of at least 60% in each coursework component and in the final project to receive the Certificate in Microfinance.
